I specialize in family therapy, and am a true believer that lasting growth occurs by working together and connecting with one another. Whether you call me to work on what seems like a family dynamic issue or what seems to be a struggle with one member of the family, I work to help families utilize the strengths and roots that ground them and connect them to one another in order to come out stronger-together. Outcomes of family therapy can include better communication, connection, increased quality time, and shared solutions to problems that originally seemed too big to tackle
INDIVIDUAL therapy
I provide individual therapy for ages 8 and up, though with children I will ask that family members join the session from time to time. Individual therapy can be a powerful outlet to aid in “taking a break” from your busy day-to-day life and spend time focusing on the most important thing in your life, you. We can spend so much time focusing on work, school, family, friends, and juggling the many expectations and things we think we “should” be doing that we often forget to take time for ourselves. I hope that my office can be your space to reflect, figure things out, and work to accomplish your goals.
Adolescent and Young Adult Therapy
I have over 10 years of experience working with this age range, and find that it is such a pivotal time in life. There are so many pressures on a daily basis- school, friendships, romantic relationships, technology, family, planning “what’s next”... and those are just to name a few! I find that there is so much power in having a non-judgemental person with whom to discuss all of these issues. I incorporate talk therapy as well as other activities (if you’re interested), such as art-as-therapy activities, self-exploration exercises, and nature-based interventions because sometimes just talking isn’t what you may be interested in.

Being in a relationship can be one of the most rewarding, and also one of the most challenging, journeys in our lives. Seeking support for your relationship helps to bring a neutral third party into the room to help you and your partner communicate in a way that is ideally different than getting stuck in the same conversations you have probably had time and time again...likely with no results. I provide a safe space for couples to come together to work through whatever they’re going through, while learning new ways to communicate and connect.
